Check the signal indicators at the top of the screen. Check the mobile data manager. Power off your device and turning it back on. Confirm you are able to make calls. Toggle Airplane mode On and Off . On. Off. Confirm cellular data is on.
Never have to enter the password when it connects to my router. Have you tried going into Settings - Network - Network Connection then OK on Start Connection wait until it gets to the Connected screen then select Other Network. Select your network from the list and press OK on the remote. This lets you enter the password.
Unfortunately, this issue hasn’t been acknowledged yet. But an affected user suggests moving the router closer to the TV as a workaround and connecting to the internet using ethernet rather than Wi-Fi. Since LG has not commented on the OLED TV Wi-Fi connection issue so far, agitated users shouldn’t anticipate an official remedy any time soon.

Mar 26, 2019. #1. Hi there. I recently bought a new smart TV - Panasonic 43" model TX-43FX550B - and am having a load of trouble keeping it connected to my home wifi. Either it won't connect at all, or when it does connect, it doesn't stay connected and if I try to watch Netflix, for example, it buffers every few seconds and becomes unwatchable.
Using your LG TV remote, press the “Settings” button. Scroll down and select “All Settings.” Go to the “Network” section and select “Connection.” Check Connection Status: Verify that your TV is connected to the correct Wi-Fi network. If it’s not connected, select the appropriate network and enter the Wi-Fi password if required.
And as an added test, consider temporarily bringing this other TV to where the LG is and connect to the coaxial cable used by the LG. The idea is to determine by process of elimination where the potential issue is; TV or coaxialcable/antenna. Please post back results / observations of the above once tried.
